  • John Sharer - Elder

John Sharer joined the elder team in 2018. Formerly he served as a missionary in Ukraine for 10 years. He and his wife, Patti, moved to the Milwaukee area in 2013. He is passionate about and enjoys serving the church through various music ministries.

  • Kyle & Emily Bero - Deacons

Kyle and Emily began attending CrossWay in 2011, while they were college students in the Milwaukee area. They are thankful for the hospitality they have received from this local church body over the years (even having lived with several different CrossWay families during times of transition!) and desire to share that same God-glorifying hospitality and service to others. Kyle primarily serves through his leadership of the musical worship team, and Emily is involved in hospitality ministries, children's ministries and care for new mothers. By day, Kyle works as a mechanical engineer and Emily stays at home with their daughters, Bethany and Cecilia.

  • Brent & Courtney Bode - Deacons

One of Courtney and Brent's first dates was attending a worship service at CrossWay and they were married by the church a year later. Courtney and Brent are both Milwaukee-area natives, who desire to see God's Kingdom spread throughout all of the city they love. They both work in health care, with Courtney being a nurse and Brent a physical therapist. They have two young children, Finn and Fiona.
